Goals for 2007

First, How I Did on 2006's Goals:

On the one hand, not so great, but on the other hand, decently, considering I constantly reevaluate goals throughout the year and that I quit my job and moved to a new city.

* Keep sending Lost Magic to agents – Sort of, in rather fitful submissions. Right now it's on hold until I read through it again.

* Completely finish the theater book – Nope, but that wasn't unexpected. The book ended up a lot more complicated than the first draft had indicated, and I got fed up and spent the last two months on a different book.

* Spend more time on writing – Hard to say since I haven't been timing myself. But I haven't felt like I haven't been writing enough.

* Do the emotion exercises I said I'd do last year, and do two crits/month minimum – Didn't do the exercises. Probably made the crit goal, or close to it.

* I haven't been exercising as much as I'd like. My job made that difficult for much of the year, but I did a lot of walking on my lunch hours.

On to 2007:

* Finish the first draft of the WIP, Seliveon's book.

* Once that's done, reread Lost Magic and decide whether I can fix it any more. Either do so or start submitting it again.

* Keep working on writing as much as possible. Projects for consideration include: Fixing LM. Draft 2 of Seliveon's book. Returning to the theater book. Coming up with some short stories (extremely unlikely).

* Exercise in some form for 5 days a week most weeks. Nice and vague – I would like to do yoga and weights and aerobics videos again, but I really like walking best.
